This is a question that I am always asked by my clients.
The answer to this question is YES! But as long as the right after care is taken.
Firstly, removal is particularly important. Client’s should never try taking it off themselves, unless they are doing the correct procedure. Shellac can damage your nails if you try to pick the polish off, as it can remove layers of your nails. I offer free removal with every Shellac Manicure/Pedicure so there will be no damage to your natural nails.
Next the aftercare.
Shellac can last up to 2 weeks with the right after care.
❤️ Apply cuticle oil/ hand cream everyday.
❤️ Always wear gloves when cleaning etc.
❤️ Treat your nails like jewels, not tools.
On this rare occasion, my client’s nails ( pictured above) lasted 2 months. Was pleasantly surprised they lasted so long with no chips. My client is very careful with her nails & follows the aftercare religiously.
If you are in doubt about getting Shellac Manicure done, don’t be! It really keeps your natural nails strong & looking very pretty. What more can you want?
Love, Shelley x
