The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation £5.90 CULT BEAUTY 💫
I love to read reviews about new makeup products that hit the beauty market. Especially products that I would like to introduce into my professional makeup kit.
Every review I had read was nothing but positive so I knew I had to try it out for myself. You can purchase this foundation from Cult Beauty, ASOS, Deciem & Beauty Bay. I was very overwhelmed by the huge variety of colours in their range, where to start?! TIP- to work out your skin tone, look at your veins on the inside of your wrists. If you can’t tell if your veins are green or blue, you may have a neutral skin tone. If you have an olive complexion, you likely fall into this category.
If your veins appear green, you have a warm skin tone.
If your veins appear blue or purple, you have a cool skin tone.
I ended up choosing the shade 2.0 N (neutral). When it arrived, it was the perfect match.
I buffed over freshly moisturised skin with my foundation brush & I was so surprised with how great the coverage was, even with just the smallest amount (I like a light to medium coverage) This foundation is very buildable to give a fuller coverage. I wore from 8am to about 9pm and the foundation barely budged, this is great for not even using a primer. One thing it did do was stick to dry areas slightly, but my skin has been a nightmare recently.
Verdict- for the price I wasn’t expecting a lot but I’m so so happy with it. So happy in fact I have introduced it into my pro kit. Love how it suits all skin types too.
If you haven’t tried it yet definitely give it go. You won’t regret it!
